You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:
- Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Engineering, Product Design, Education Technology, or a related field.
- Product Management certification or specialization.
- 5+ years of experience working with software development teams across the full SDLC under Agile methodologies.
- 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Product Leader.
- Strong technical background or software development knowledge, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams.
- Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle from discovery through delivery, launch, and iteration.
- Experience working with complex stakeholder environments, preferably in public sector or highly regulated contexts.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in dynamic environments with evolving priorities, requirements, and constraints.
- Solid understanding of usability, accessibility, scalability, and data security principles.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and adjust plans proactively.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience tracking product and business metrics.
- Conversational to Full Professional Proficiency in English.
- Availability to work onsite. Candidates outside El Salvador must be willing to relocate temporarily.
You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:
- Define and execute product strategy aligned with client objectives, public sector requirements, and business outcomes.
- Establish and communicate a clear product vision, connecting MVPs to measurable goals and impact.
- Lead discovery and requirement definition with Design, Research, and Engineering teams.
- Translate insights into actionable roadmaps, epics, user stories, and priorities.
- Partner closely with engineering teams throughout the SDLC to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and complex stakeholder groups.
- Define and oversee functional and non-functional requirements, including accessibility, scalability, usability, and data security.
- Anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and adapt plans to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor product performance and adoption, using data and feedback for continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
