Devops engineer

Candidates must have hands on puppet chef & AWS else will not fly

BS/BA degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.

· 7+ years’ experience with operating system (Linux and/or Windows) installation and patch administration in an Internet services environment.

· 3-5+ years’ general DevOps/WS/Infrastructure experience.

· 5+ years’ experience with the configuration and maintenance of LDAP in a multi-site environment.

· 5+ years’ experience with SAN storage, blade server technology (IBM/HP), VMWare virtualization

· 5+ year experience with configuration and maintenance of common web based applications such as Apache (1.x/2.x), Java based application Server architectures (Tomcat/Weblogic), IIS

· 5+ years’ experience with NTP, SSH, DNS, and SNMP.

· 5+ years’ experience with database systems (MySQL and/or SQL Server)

· 3+ years’ experience with shell scripting.

· 3+ years’ of AWS/Cloud infrastructure experience.

· 2+ years’ experience with configuration management and automation.

· Practical experience with most of if not all components of AWS: EC2, Beanstalk, ELB, Route53, S3, Cloudfront, SNS, SWF, SQS, RDS, DynamoDB, ElasticCache, IAM, CloudFormation.

· Proven ability to automate common administration tasks.

· Experience working with load balancing technologies and web server farms

· Must possess a strong ability to document standards, methods and produce drawings of environments.

· Basic Project management principals

· Must be a motivated self-starter with attention to detail

· Team oriented performer, focused on the tasks and goals of the organization
