Our initial focus is to acquire expertise to help us establish a release management process using Team Foundation Server (TFS) tools that will promote the following efficiencies:
ā¢ Enable concurrent and ongoing development streams, with multiple teams of developers in multiple locations, making changes to new and existing Sales Force applications.
ā¢ Implement usage of a version control solution, providing the ability for development teams to undue changes quickly and easily by ensuring complete traceability and recovery of both configuration and custom components.
ā¢ Reduce the manual overhead required to deploy code between environments through the usage of automated tools.
ā¢ Identify potential security and quality issues.
ā¢ Generate metrics through automation of deployment and testing.
