currently seeking a JD Edwards Developer for a short term assignment. This position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with JD Edwards Enterprise One development in both the Financials and HCM product modules.
Job duties will include a combination of working open trouble tickets and project work. Specific experience with troubleshooting issues in custom applications and working with JD Edwards reports is critical. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of the JDE table structure and dependencies
- Experience with integrating data with applications outside JDE, both importing and exporting.
- Must have strong software development process knowledge from design, requirements gathering, analysis, testing methodologies, and production support.
- Understanding of JDE configuration including, but not limited to, UBE’s, Global Constants, Versions, Task Views and Security
- Ability to diagnose and solve system problems while working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Must have effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Analyze system capabilities and their use in meeting customer requirements. Design, program and test procedures. Reviews, analyzes, and modifies the programming systems including encoding, testing, and debugging to support the County’s JDE Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Participate in all stages of development including analysis, panel design, programming, testing and implementation. Ensures that software can be completely integrated into the ERP system. Designs new modules to improve system efficiency.
Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 6 years or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
