The Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that inform, engage, and inspire both internal associates and external stakeholders. This role involves creating compelling content, managing various communication channels, and supporting our brand reputation.

This position reports to the LATAM Sr. Marketing Manager and is part of the Latin American Marketing Manager located in Mexico City and will be an on-site role to cover Latin American Region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Create Content: Draft, edit, and proofread a variety of communication materials, including press releases, internal announcements, newsletters, website content, social media posts, presentations, and marketing collateral.
• Develop Internal Communications: Support internal communication efforts to ensure associates are well-informed about company news, initiatives, and values. This may include managing internal portals, email campaigns, and associate engagement programs.
• Lead Digital Communication: Manage and update content on social media channels to maintain an active and engaging online presence.
• Brand Management: Ensure all communications align with Beckman Coulter's brand guidelines, voice, and strategic objectives.
• Event Support: Provide communication support for corporate events, conferences, and webinars, including developing messaging and promotional materials.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field
• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a communications, public relations, or corporate marketing role, preferably within a corporate or agency setting. Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
• Languages: fluent written and spoken English is a must. Portuguese is a plus.
• Experience in content management systems, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools and mid understanding of graphic design principles and experience with design software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

• Ability to travel locally and aboard when necessary (it is expected to be less than 10% of the time)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong storytelling ability and experience adapting messages for different audiences and channels.
• High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external contacts.
