About the role:
As a Label Change Coordinator, you will execute day-to-day objectives that significantly impact the results in your area of responsibility. You will apply limited discretion within established operational boundaries and procedures. This role will be a key resource for coordination and implementation of Market driven package and label changes. This role requires knowledge of operational procedures and tools, which is typically gained through extensive work experience and may involve project or technical education. You will contribute to moderate improvements in product labeling and departmental processes.
Main focus on this position is to coordinate and perform the product labelling artwork change (e.g., boxes, cartons, bottles, plastic wraps, and other containers) among the stakeholders and labeling team to deliver high quality artwork in the efficient timing.
In this position you will be responsible for project management of small to moderate labelling project.
Position may require handling change requests (CCR) in Trackwise and run the labeling implementation process into production (assigned to specific plants).
Demonstrates full compliance with Convatec’s Quality Management System (QMS), policies, and procedures.With support, you will implement incremental improvements to product labeling and departmental processes.
The aim of the Labeling Team is to generate production-ready-graphics for finished goods.
This position will ensure that work is performed in a manner that is safe, effective and compliant with regulated procedures and company policies.
This role will be a key resource for market and compliance driven package and label changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating of the project communication between the key functions to ensure artwork content is designed and aligned with requirements in the timely manner
- Translating or transfering design inputs from the label request process into compliant and implementable art on finished goods
- handling moderate labelling projects for artwork change.
- Performing change in Trackwise (CCR).
- May require handling implementation of the change into production activities (in specific plant).
- Ensuring that work is performed in a manner that is safe, effective and compliant with regulated procedures and company policies
- Working under limited supervision for routine situations and may be responsible for organizing daily operations; problems are typically difficult and routine, but not complex.
- Demonstrating ability and desire to learn new concepts and function in the arena of Packaging and Labeling. This will include; proof reading, labeling processes and graphics arts and will cover but is not limited to labels, inserts, Instructions for Use (IFU’s), cartons, and leaflets.
- Illustrating basic ability to take ideas and instructions from a variety of sources and, with supervision, interpret, organize, and present them in a organized format from concept through completion (print and/or electronic).
- Reviewing and prioritizing production work and other tasks working closely with Team Leader, Manufacturing Sites, Regulatory and Graphic Artist. Adjusts priorities according to due dates and interpretation of time necessary for production. Plays a supportive role in planning and preparing designs for new products and projects.
- Communicating effectively with other graphic artists and members of their team. Clearly identifies problems and solutions that arise with projects and discusses accordingly. Provides training to new personnel and communicates with outside vendors, printing suppliers, Package Engineers, Projects Administrators, and Marketing Group.
- Demonstrating ability to be detailed oriented. Demonstrate a desire to learn and master the function of Proof Reader.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of laser printers and plotter, sending and receiving files via Secure Connect. Retrieves files from archives. Uses Scanner proficiently. Uses Language Software to convert RTF (Rich Text Format) files from foreign markets.
- This individual will represent the Labeling team on project teams they participate on.
