Job Description
BDRs play a key role in the sales funnel by working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Technical Teams. Their goal is to identify, qualify, and nurture leas before passing them to Account Managers or Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs).
1. Lead Generation & Qualification
o Identifies new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
o Engages potential customers to understand their IT needs and challenges.
o Qualifies leads and passes them to the sales team (Account Managers or Inside Sales)
2. Customer Engagement
o Works closely with marketing and sales to nurture prospects.
o Provides initial product information and sets up meetings with sales reps.
o Focuses on early-stage sales pipeline development.
3. Collaboration with Sales & Marketing
o Aligns with Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) and Account Managers (AMs).
o Helps execute demand-generation campaigns.
o Works on targeted accounts based on HPE's growth strategy.
4. Tools & Metrics
o Uses Salesforce or other CRM tools to track progress.
o Meets KPIs like call volumes, lead conversions, and revenue impact.
