Job Description:
This position reports directly to the Manager of Respiratory Therapy and receives day to day oversight from the Respiratory Supervisors. The
Respiratory Therapist performs respiratory care related duties to all age groups. Responsible for direct patient care within their scope of services in accordance with state licensure, and the Registration Board of Respiratory Care. The Respiratory Therapist works under physician orders, follows departmental and Beverly Hospital policies. Utilizes a high level of critical thinking skills, must have the ability to apply the appropriate best-practice, be objective and receptive to othersâ points of view with regard to patient care issues.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
o   Provides direct patient care under physician orders and within the scope of services and licensure laws
o   Works collaboratively with providers
o   Reviews current orders in area of responsibility and ensures patients receive treatments as ordered
o   Administers medications via hand held nebulizer, MDI and new modes of delivery as established
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Â
Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy from an Accredited School of Respiratory Therapy.
Licensure, Certification, Registration: Â
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:Â
Experience:Â Â
Experience as a Staff Respiratory Therapist with a focus on critical care preferred
Pay Range:
$40.78 - $60.59The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
