The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates a patient's mobility and motor assets and liabilities for functional performance. The Physical Therapist provides goal-directed, activity-oriented treatment to promote optimum independence in functional mobility and daily life tasks. As a member of the health care team, the physical therapist works closely with other rehabilitation disciplines, nursing, physicians, and case managers to provide patient-centered care. Patient/family and community education are essential components of this position.

QualificationsĀ
RequiredĀ
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy ProgramĀ
Current Massachusetts Physical Therapy licenseĀ
Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certificationĀ
Strong interpersonal and communication skillsĀ
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary teamĀ
PreferredĀ
Experience in outpatient physical therapy settingsĀ
Additional certifications in specialized physical therapy techniquesĀ
Education and ExperienceĀ
Graduate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy ProgramĀ
Relevant clinical experience preferredĀ

Pay Range:
$38.50 - $53.90The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
