What Youâll Do
As a Systems Engineer, youâll be designing, integrating, and optimizing complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving will be essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes. Youâllbe responsible foranalyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. Additionally, youâllidentify and mitigate risks, ensuring that our systems meet the highest quality standards and exceed customer expectations.
Role Responsibilities:Â
Lead and/or develop and execute complex projects that have a substantial mix of electrical, mechanical, physics, algorithms, and software design; attend design reviews and provide input to meet market requirement specifications (MRS) and hardware/software specifications. âŻ
Coordinate with project marketing and management to understandâŻsystem requirements
Lead architecture brainstorming meetings and drive the systems process to down select to a final architecture of a top-level system
Write detailed specifications that cover all aspects of subsystem modules including interfaces to the product by using systems analysis to create a diagram
Create concepts for complex architectural design approaches âŻ
Lead team evaluations of architectures to provide recommendation for best system solution approach.Provide feedback on variety of components and modules.
Identify and troubleshoot a range of complex engineering problems in field of technical expertise, including serviceability and manufacturability.
Support System Integration during the assembly and final testing of new product designs.
Interface with groups to workout design, systems architecture development, and integration issues.
Define all equipment interfaces and systems architecture and insure they are up to date and documented.
Work with vendors to develop new competitive products, including development of key suppliers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelorâs degree
7-10 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in optical physics and system engineering
Hands-on experience in material characterization and development of novel sensing capabilities
Understanding of interferometry, polarization phenomena, spectral analysis, light scattering, mass spectrometry
Ability to own and drive technical projects of highest complexity
Team player capable of achieving tangible solutions and results independently
Broad set of skills including EE, ME, SW, ability to effectively communicate with multiple cross-disciplinary team members
Semiconductor product development experience
