Analog Devices is seeking a Product Applications Engineer in the Advanced Data Converter Platforms Group (ADG). This group develops transceiver products from narrowband to ultra-wideband for aerospace & defense, instrumentation and communication applications such as radar, 5G, LEO satellite, and smart phone testers. These products create a mobile, connected, and safe future. In this position you will work directly with IC design, product engineering, software, marketing, and field applications engineers to enable customers to move fast from evaluation to prototyping with ultra-wideband transceiver designs, to ensure a positive customer experience and win new design-ins.
This position is ideal for an energetic, motivated and application minded engineer looking for new challenges in algorithms and support for the cutting edge ultra-wideband transceiver technology space. The successful candidate will join a product applications team with deep domain expertise in A/D and D/A converters, DSP, algorithms, RF, high speed interface and transceiver-based designs.
Key responsibilities will include:
Key Qualifications
Radar digital beamforming, adaptive signal processing etc.
Functions and algorithms in the industry’s highest end FPGAs or ASICs for cellular radio and wireless standards (LTE, LTE-A, 5G NR, WIFI6/7 etc). ORAN/LowPHY experience is desirable.
RF signal chain design and characterization, board level development
Serial communication protocols including Ethernet, JESD204B/C/D, or USR/XSR.
