As akeymember of thePES Audio team, you will be designing the next generation of high-performance audio solutions defining the way devices areoperated, the way music is enjoyed, and the way people connect to each other.These integrated circuits enable high-volume, high-visibility products for market-leading customers who depend onbest-in-class audio performanceto differentiate their offerings.The rapid proliferation of connected devices, combined with aggressive form-factor reduction in audio peripherals, continues to push the boundaries of existing solutions-driving the need for innovative architectures and novel system-level trade-offs and circuit-leveldesigninnovations.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecturedefinitionof clock synthesizersto achievehigh performance audio processing

• Work with the analog team to executedesignsfrom abstract level down totransistor level

• Provideguidance andinstructions for layoutimplementation,benchevaluationandproductiontestto ensure successful delivery of the design

• Activelyparticipatein bench evaluationwith support from evaluation team

• Communicate effectivelydesign choices,performanceandprogress

• Provide mentorship and technical leadership for junior engineers

Requirements

• Electronic Engineering/Computer Engineering degree with 5+yearsofprogressive experience inarchitecting and designingclock synthesizers(PLL, FLL, MDLL, ADPLL)

• Experience in clock performance analysis(PSS/Pnoise)

• Hands onexperience on low powerdesignof relevant clock synthesis block such asVCO, loop filter,phasedetectors

• ProficientwithSpectresimulation tools or equivalentand behavioral/system-level modeling tools

• Good understanding of semiconductor device physics

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multi-site, cross-functional engineering teams 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience withbench clock analysis tools

• Good understanding of signalprocessingsuch as data-converterandDSP

• Experience in audio IC design

• Passion for Audio
