We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 7/8a Locum Sonographer to join our team in Lincoln. This ongoing role offers a competitive pay rate of £52 - £55 per hour, with working hours from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm. The position is available for an immediate start, providing an excellent opportunity for a qualified sonographer to work in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Band 7/8a Locum Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, and musculoskeletal scans. You will ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnostic results, while maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure. Your role will involve interpreting ultrasound images, producing detailed reports, and collaborating with the medical team to discuss findings and support patient care plans. You will also mentor and support junior staff members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practice standards in the department.
