Job Description:
We are seeking a Band 3 Therapy Assistant to join our team at Standing Way, Eaglestone. In this role, you will support the therapy team in delivering high-quality care to acute NHS inpatients, particularly those with respiratory and surgical needs. Your contributions will be vital in promoting patient recovery and ensuring a positive experience in our care environment.
What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role?
As a Band 3 Locum Physiotherapist you will assist qualified therapists in delivering therapy interventions to inpatients, ensuring that patient care is at the forefront of all activities. You will help with patient assessments and monitor progress under the guidance of the therapy team. You will support patients with rehabilitation exercises, mobility training, and daily living activities to enhance their recovery. You will maintain accurate records of patient progress and assist in the preparation of therapy equipment and materials. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients. You will help create a welcoming and safe environment for patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity throughout their therapy sessions
