Get to Know the Role
You will be reporting to the Lead, Merchant Acquisition and working onsite at the CMC Creative Space office, District 7, HCMC
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Meet, pitch and lead negotiations with assigned/prospected merchant leads to acquire and onboard them unto GrabMart. To market and champion Grabmart's value proposition as the leader of choice for merchants
- Build partnerships with merchants and manage their performance and contribution to building the GrabMart merchant network
- Handle daily merchant queries (commercial & operational) and ensure a smooth onboarding and post-onboarding process
- Be accountable for merchant activity and engagement throughout the merchant's onboarding journey
- Stay informed about market knowledge and competitor activity to contribute to strategies in meeting market changes and merchants' requirements
- Develop an understanding of all products and services Grab offers
- You will manage a portfolio of key restaurants with a focus on building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue.
- You will collaborate with merchants for merchant-funded promo programs, merchant commission schemes, new products/features.
- You will identify bottlenecks and potential issues related to merchant operations and the content management process and provide solutions to these issues.
- You will analyse data and develop plans to increase revenues/profitability for your portfolio and make decisions that build operational performance for your accounts.
- You will build key accounts, measured by deliveries and GMV.
- You will work across departments to tailor merchant-specific needs (e.g. customized reporting, marketing support, integrations).
- You will deliver business improvement projects to create value for both merchants and GrabMart.
