Commodities Responsible: Extrusions, Pump Housing Machining, Bearing Bush, Elastomers, Bearing Sleeve, and any other commodities assigned in future based on the organizational & business requirement.
1. Identifying, establishing, developing potential suppliers, and defining the optimum sourcing strategy for the commodities responsible.
2. Floating RFQ, negotiating and concluding the techno-commercial terms, defining the share of business (SOB) for the responsible commodities and to ensure the optimum value & solution for the organization through these activities.
3. Responsible for the new development activities including procurement (Proto and PPAP) for the commodities handled and meeting the development deadlines.
4. Handing over of the developed parts to procurement according to the latest purchase guidelines.
5. Ensuring the outsource/supplier capacity for the commodities responsible to meet the organizational targets.
6. Preparing and to ensure Approvals for the ORA, whenever there is new part development.
7. Creating & updating the info record & other relevant SAP activities for the commodities handled.
8. To support & clarify the payment related queries raised by supplier or by the internal teams and to coordinate & support on the activities related to statutory requirements.
9. Responsible to conduct market survey/analysis (technical & commercial) for the commodities handled and to ensure that HejP staying at the same or better position compared to the market.
10. Identifying opportunities for cost savings through supplier negotiations, value engineering, and other cost reduction initiatives (RPP). To work closely with engineering teams to optimize designs for cost-effective procurement without compromising quality or performance.
11. To assess and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process, including supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and cost overruns. This involves developing contingency plans, diversifying the supplier base, and implementing risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply.
12. Responsible for coordinating & closing the audit points related to the commodities responsible.
13. To maintain and monitor the required & relevant documentation pertaining to the commodities responsible in accordance with ISO, purchase procedures, OMP guidelines or any standard defined
14. To support the IPN colleagues on activities in India like global supplier identification & qualification, whenever there are requests from IPN
