We鈥檙e looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager to establish and scale our Mass Payouts business in Singapore.
This is a unique opportunity to build a new revenue stream from the ground up. You will hunt and close new "mass payout" logos鈥攂usinesses that need to pay global sellers, freelancers, contractors, developers, and influencers efficiently and compliantly.
This isn鈥檛 a traditional sales role. It鈥檚 for a "hunter" who thrives on navigating ambiguity, mastering technical products, and unlocking growth opportunities for customers who need to move money globally at scale.
In this role, you鈥檒l:
Own End-to-End Sales: You will manage the full sales cycle independently. From prospecting and discovery to solutioning, negotiation, and closing.
Build the "Outreach Engine": You won鈥檛 just wait for leads; you will generate them. You will execute a consistent prospecting strategy (cold outreach, social selling, events) and conduct market mapping to identify high-value targets in the relevant verticals.
Master the Product & Tech: You will go deep into the Wise API capabilities and compliance framework. You will engage in credible conversations with Product Managers and Engineers鈥攏ot just Finance teams鈥攄emonstrating how Wise Mass Payouts solves pain points around FX, manual work, and integration.
Be a Customer Advocate: You will use your findings from the field ("No's" and "Yes's") to feedback to our Product and Engineering teams, helping to prioritize features that drive value for our mass payout customers.

A "Hunter" Mentality: You have a proven track record of managing the full sales cycle independently. You are highly accountable and can walk us through exactly how you source deals, drive them through the funnel, and overcome pricing pushback.
Thriving in ambiguity: You have the ability to identify opportunities and build processes where none existed before. You don't need a playbook; you write it. You are comfortable navigating uncertainty and building solutions from scratch.
Mass Payments Expertise: You understand the B2B cross-border payments landscape. You can confidently discuss the pain points of bulk payments (compliance, costs, FX) and know the competitive landscape (e.g., Payoneer, TTs) inside out.
Product & Tech Orientation: You are comfortable selling an API-first, platform-based solution. You can walk through technical workflows and explain how an API integration adds value to a client鈥檚 operations.
Curiosity & Resilience: You ask "why" to uncover deep customer problems. You are resilient in the face of rejection and can pivot your strategy based on market feedback to drive results.
