The Product Manager (PM) is responsible for product strategy (positioning, long term target), product portfolio management (PLCM, spec & performance, P&L, coverage, PIM), implementation of product benchmark with competitors (cross references), definition of the sourcing (Supplier, TCO), business model (Stocking, Shipping, Warranty). The product manager also steers the project management (interface with internal and external business partners).
The PM performs the product phase in and phase out, supports the GtM with product information, product training and technical support. Based on market/ customer and competitor observations the PM derives the product strategy. He/ She is responsible for achieving a completive market coverage, TOP vehicle coverage and time to market product launches.
Core functions are the product release (13 digit), product cancellation, support selection of suppliers, pre-steering and target costing of procurement prices, definition of price points and lower price limits for sales. Lead BU product related growth projects on the EA Region. Definition of part numbers per range and brand.
