Advise on day-to-day and strategic legal matters across financial regulation and consumer protection, payments, banking, marketing and partnerships.
Work closely and build relationships with multiple business teams across Wise including Compliance, Product, Wise Platform and Banking and Expansion.
Become a trusted advisor on issues such as financial and consumer regulations, sanctions, AML and anti-bribery issues, banking arrangements, new products, partnerships, etc.
Translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear, scalable product and operational requirements.
Lead legal analysis of new and evolving regulatory requirements and drive implementation with stakeholders.
Drive regulator engagement across multiple jurisdictions, including drafting and coordinating regulatory communications and engaging directly with regulators.
Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements with financial institutions and enterprise customers.
Mentor and upskill the Legal Team (based in London, New York, Austin, Tallinn, Singapore, Brussels and S茫o Paulo) to continue delivering on initiatives that will impact the business.
Based out of our London office, a hybrid business model that requires this individual to be in the office 3 days per week on average.
