ME/ECO (Engineering Common Competencies, Processes, Methods and Tools) is our central digitalization department for ECU development. Our team (ME/ECO1-HU) provides common competency related services for the Mobility Electronics community in field of mechanical development, digitalization and data analytics.
We are looking for a Simulation Automation Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team of experts in simulation automation, CAD environment, software development, and DevOps. In our worldwide team you will cooperate very closely with colleagues in Germany. Your responsibility will be to support both, local projects in Hungary and global projects for the ME ECU development area. Our team operates in an agile setup.
Your tasks:
In this position, you will be designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions for a wide range of simulation tasks and workflows. A key part of your role will involve aligning on requirements and defining acceptance criteria with our customers to ensure our solutions meet their needs. You will apply professional software development standards to create robust and scalable automation scripts and applications.
You will primarily use Python to build these solutions and will operate within a modern, professional deployment infrastructure. Our development environment relies on Git for version control and code review. Most software solutions are deployed in the cloud, while the core simulation workflows are often deployed on-premise.
Furthermore, you will support colleagues in simulation and reliability engineering in creating Python-based web applications. This includes code reviews, support in deployment, code optimization and trainings.
