Work scope includes:
- Advanced Technology Research: Conduct fundamental research and pre-development of on emerging technologies related to vehicle dynamics, including X-by-wire systems (Steer-by-Wire, Brake-by-Wire), active suspension, and rear-wheel steering.
- System Design & Modeling: Develop high-fidelity physical models and simulation environments for chassis components.
- Component innovation & Validation: Contribute to research projects with innovative ideas for key components performance improvement and optimized design.
- International Cooperation: Work closely with corporate research hub in Renningen, Germany on project activities and competence development.
Main responsibility includes:
- Drive the research and pre-development of intelligent chassis components, focusing on innovation in system integration, component design and optimization.
- Utilize tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, CarMaker, or dSPACE to simulate component behavior and optimize system performance under various driving conditions.
- Contribute to multi-physics field simulation (mechanical, thermal, CFD, etc.) of chassis key components via commercial software, such as ANSYS, Comsol.
- Define test cases for component durability and functional performance. Analyze test data to correlate results with simulation models and optimize component designs.
- Pursue technology excellence by contributing brilliant ideas to new product concepts including patent filing.
- Support project activities to transfer deliverables to business units successfully.
