This role dual reports to both Head of Marketing, Vietnam and Laos and IPVMC Head of Marketing Services.
The individual will be responsible for implementing client marketing VAS projects to our clients in Vietnam & Laos and delivering tactical marketing solutions by working closely with local and regional marketing teams, regional Partner Marketing Services team, Business Development team, Visa’s Consulting team, and external agencies.
Additionally, this role is mainly responsible for leading Media, Digital and Data partnerships, and Marketing Measurement across all marketing initiatives across Vietnam and Laos.
A robust understanding of the media landscape & data ecosystems, combined with deep exposure to traditional, digital and newer media platforms, is critical to success in this role. This role requires an analytical and innovative thinker who works closely with Media/ Measurement/Insights, Hub leads and agency partners to deliver high-quality, cross-channel media programs and data strategies. This role also includes client interface, specifically around media consultancy services and digital marketing to be provided to issuers and other stakeholders in the cluster, to push our Value-Added Services agenda.
Responsibilities:
- Bring the “best of Visa” marketing to our key clients and work cohesively with Visa marketing community locally, regionally, and globally, as well as the local Vietnam Business Development, Visa Consulting and Business Development teams.
- Be responsible for implementing Marketing VAS projects, selling Marketing VAS for assigned clients/ projects, and handling co-marketing client engagements with local Visa Client Marketing team and Business Development Teams.
- Generate new revenue streams and create integrated Marketing VAS proposals including marketing insight, marketing strategy, creative services and production, marketing execution, media planning and deployment, global/ regional/ local sponsorships, and other customized services to support client’s objectives from launch to acquisition, activation, usage, and retention.
- Closely engage with clients in QBRs, regular client meetings, and engagements.
- Work closely with all relevant marketing and finance teams, locally and regionally, and external agencies to ensure the effective and timely delivery of revenue and margins associated with Marketing VAS commitments.
- Lead development and deployment of a holistic, impactful media strategy for all key initiatives and track adherence in the tactical media plans for Visa-led campaigns and client campaigns.
- Support initiative planning and prioritization as well as measurement-driven guidance for all consumer marketing campaigns.
- Establish and track KPI metrics to be used to evaluate ongoing campaign performance
- Subject matter expert across all channels of media discipline – programmatic, search, social, mobile - towards more effectively targeting and optimizing messaging end customers using data.
- Lead and support our “Value Added Services” through Digital Advisory, Digital Acquisition, Digital & Social engagement, Real-time Creative Personalization and Marketing Data Strategy, delivering best-in-class media thinking to our end clients.
- Manage and promote key digital platforms including owned, earned and paid digital & social platforms to move the business metrics. This includes working with AP Data leads, managing external agencies, supporting content development, platform evolution, systems & delivery and optimization through Google Analytics.
- Incubate and manage new media partnerships and platforms working closely with IPVMC Head of Media, Digital and Data and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with the business needs and the needs of clients
- Develop and share best practice media platforms and programs at scale with other in-country media and market leads
- Provide strategic rigor & media/channel innovation to the planning & implementation of creative ideas
- Work in a highly collaborative manner, across internal stakeholders and external partners
- Influence over media budget including contract negotiation and fee oversight with agencies
- Identify proactive opportunities to drive revenue through digital and data
