The Wise Platform Financial Crime Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and ensuring the effectiveness of the European Wise Platform's financial crime compliance program. Key responsibilities involve establishing robust standards for partner onboarding and ongoing monitoring, contributing to the drafting and maintenance of second-line policies and frameworks, and offering strategic advisory to the first line.

Financial Crime Oversight & Support
Lead on the oversight of Europe Wise Platform governance, particularly the onboarding and ongoing monitoring management of partners.
Provide guidance and advisory on partner assessments and where elevated financial crime risks are identified, working with the first line teams for an effective mitigation action plan.
Be the point of contact for second line partnership management including partner calls and escalation by internal stakeholders.
Support the building and maintenance of Wise Platform鈥檚 EU financial crime compliance program, frameworks and procedures, in adherence with Belgium and European requirements and expectations.
Risk Management
Review MI and KRIs for Wise platform and perform trend analysis to identify emerging risks.
Support in the development and review of Wise Platform risk frameworks, including onboarding flows, partner risk assessments models, ongoing monitoring frameworks and risk tolerance frameworks and thresholds aligning to Wise鈥檚 Europe overall risk strategy and across all Wise Platform integration types.
Incident and Issue Management
Support first line teams in managing Wise Europe Platform incidents or emerging risks;
Support the root cause analysis for Wise Platform incidents collaborating with relevant stakeholders on an effective remediation plan.
Lead the reporting of Wise Platform partner issues and incident root causes to the AMLCO and Senior Management, ensuring all proposed mitigation plans are aligned with Wise Europe risk tolerance and Belgian and European regulatory standards.
Oversee Wise Platform Partner issues (audit and regulatory findings, self-identified issues) and collaborate closely with all impacted teams on the remediation plan.
