The Technical Sales intern will assist with the following:
- Support the sales team in identifying and qualifying new business opportunities within industrial automation and electrification markets
- Assist with prospect research, account profiling, and CRM data entry to maintain accurate pipeline visibility
- Prepare customer-facing materials including presentations, technical summaries, and value propositions
- Coordinate with engineering and product management teams to gather technical specifications and solution details
- Participate in customer meetings, discovery calls, and internal strategy sessions to gain exposure to consultative selling processes
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and pricing benchmarks to support territory and account planning
- Help develop quotations, proposals, and bid documentation in accordance with company standards
- Track order status, delivery timelines, and customer communications to ensure high service levels
- Contribute to lead generation campaigns, trade show preparation, and follow-up activities
- Generate periodic sales performance reports and dashboards for leadership review
