Work closely with project team and PuT, transfer product specifications into Request for Quotation (RFQ)
Request formal quotations according to BLC, or collaborate with PUR for new selection of potential suppliers then ask for quotes
Study quotes, compare prices and conditions of quotes, negotiate with suppliers, and complete Comparison of Quotation (COQ)
Selection of suitable suppliers for new projects & specified components. Managing and monitoring projects related costs, support to supplier strategy & landing. Acting as the major commercial contact to deal with the supplier related issues. Assure enough supplier capacity for new projects. Acting as a communication bridge with PuT, PUR, EX team.
Maintains all documentation and data, in particular contracts, master data and standard prices, as well as monitoring of deadlines, order processing, delivery tracking and handle payment.
Works closely with other interfacing departments and Business Unit to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation of cost reduction, engineering change and new product launch projects.
